Zhongguo xizang qianbi mulu

Yin Zhengmin, Zhongguo xizang qianbi mulu,
Lhasa, Xizang Minzu Chubanshe, 2004, 261 p.

A new fantastic catalogue for Tibetan coins from the very beginning up to 1959.
So far this catalogue is the most extensive and comprehensive available. On 261 pages all coins are shown on colour pictures with lots of varieties, errors, overprints, Nepali coins for circulation in Tibet etc.
Language is in Chinese, nevertheless this catalogue is helpful to someone who does not speak Chinese. One does not need to be able the Chinese texts because there is a picture for every coin and one can figure out the date, weight, the size and the price even without knowing Chinese.

The weakest point is maybe the prices. The author lives in Lhasa Tibet and collected there coins for over 30 years. Prices are his buying prices in that period - prices he once got his coins for and he now wishes to get them for. Nevertheless prices show the relations of value of the coins.

A must for every Tibet collector!!!!!!!!
